Location
The primary work location will be at our offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Summary
High Point Youth Ranch is hiring our first employee! What an exciting time to be on the ground floor of something truly amazing! Our mission is to provide a safe haven for empowering youth to overcome adversity and realize God’s purpose for their lives. We are looking for someone that can serve in this capacity on a volunteer basis through December 2022. The position will transition to a full-time, paid position in January 2023.
We are opening our first location in Tulsa, OK, where we will deliver exciting programs that will challenge and motivate youth to fulfill their potential. At the same time, we will be sharing the vision and raising funds to build the Youth Ranch just south of Henryetta, OK. This administrative role will be critical to the launch of our first location in Tulsa and will support all aspects of this startup initiative.

Responsibilities
Support the recruiting and onboarding of all volunteers and employees through job postings, new hire paperwork, processing necessary background screenings and ensuring ongoing employee certifications are maintained.
Support our program participants through their registration, event scheduling and sign-in upon arrival at our facility.
Supporting the staff with communications, project coordination and follow-up on action items.
Working with new and existing vendors by requesting quotes, scheduling services, etc.
Process electronic and cash payments, track our accounts payable and make bank deposits, as necessary.
Create an exceptional customer experience by answering phones and responding to emails in a timely manner.
Assist with the coordination of events that provide services to the community and help bring awareness to our mission.
Perform research online to gather information needed for fundraising, operations, etc.
Write and/or proofread communications, press releases, etc.
Perform and assist with other duties as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Relatable work experience preferred
Committed to our mission and core values
Determined to get the job done
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Ability to perform research online, by email, and phone
Must have reliable transportation; some local travel required
Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace products
